“HR Superhero!”

As a small business owner we have to wear so many hats that it is hard to be great at all of them, and over the years I realized that HR was an area that I was lacking. Managing a team of 14 females in a small space, can be overwhelming to say the least.  After finding Tami at Unicycle, my HR world has changed. She has gone through all of our employee files and made sure we are compliant and current, our employee handbook is through and complete. When I have questions or issues that arise with employees, Tami is there to help, either by answering questions, offering solutions or being an in person face to help with difficult situations. She also is that HR person who has my back as a small business owner, she reminds me I am the boss, I do not have to feel held hostage by employees behavior and she reminds me what I legally can and cannot say or do.  Her style with employees is amazing, coaching them so they see their part in the issue we are dealing with  She is So skilled in conveying what is the business best interest to the employee, while making them feel heard and that they understand what their rights and responsibilities are. On My team I have several young managers, who are learning new skills to manage people, Tami offers a Managers Boot Camp, that helps managers find a different style to get the best out of their team. I will NEVER not have Tami as my HR Department because she has made my life so much easier, that I can focus on what I do best!
